    I'm pretty retarded with Illustrator and Photoshop still, so I drew this in Art Rage, then imported it to Illustrator and used Live Trace to smooth out the lines, then imported it back into Art Rage and colored it with the airbrush tool :) Do you like it better?

      I like how LiveTrace made your lines look more like ink; bolder and darker and a little smoother. I know nothing about ArtRage, but if you're interested in Photoshop coloring, this is a good place to check out one method (but note it is super time consuming!): http://www.polykarbon.com/tutorials/html/channels2.html

        Art Rage is a really fun, user friendly program :) there's a free edition and if you like it, the full version is only $25. I really like it. :)
        
        Thanks for the coloring help. I need a class on this -so bad- I'm just trying to teach myself. But I'm afraid I'm doing it all the hard way. o_O I will give this method a try though!

  I assume it was a blues class because of the hand holds, but it looks like it could also be tango :)

    Actually it's a lindy sugar push :P I may have drawn the hands in the easiest to draw position as opposed to the most accurate.

      Wow, I would have never guessed a sugar push. You are in closed position in the picture, while the move is an open position move.
      
      I like the comic. It looks really 50's art style :)

        Yeah, I guess what I mean was irl it was a sugar push...I drew something else because the arms were looking weird in open position :P
        
        Thanks! I'll try to do more like this :) I think the influence came from a new shirt design I was concocting that had me looking to pinup cartoons for reference :P

    Oh did you get an invite to the birthday party? Maureen (the nice older woman)is having a dance!! It will be on sunday, December 2nd, from 6-9pm at the United Methodist Church. :) You should try to bring Tom. And we should try to make Anoakie come...
